How to track website new occurrences of words of interest?
What is the best way to control (daily) all references to the topic or keywords of interest? Thanks for the answers, but let me clarify: I am looking for ready-made software to the following: eg find all the websites and blogs that have mentioned the word "giraffe" in the last 7 days.
It is very easy. Write a spider (bot). Every day began to look for each page for keywords. Have it writes the URL. Html text and links to files whenever it finds one. When you do that open the html file I wrote. using php and curl
Connecting reference monitors (Home Recording)?
I am a musician with a Home Recording configuration. I recently I just bought my first pair of reference monitors - Event ALP5s. I am a beginner at this and am not familiar with electrical terminology. Thus, the manual user (who is very short and easy to use anyway) is practically useless to me. I'm want to know how to connect these things. There are three entries in the back of each monitor. Two of them are "balanced" inputs, and one of them appears to be the input for a Mic Cable, and the other an Instrument Cable. Then There is another entry called an "unbalanced" input, and is basically a headphone jack (which is very small). Where do I connect to the least and what kind of cables should I use? Unfortunately, it seems, takes musician friends know that you are getting ONLY monitors, and cables needed to prepare.
Standu; The connection type Microphone @ rear of the speaker uses a Microphone Cable. This is a "XLR" cable, which is a 'balanced' cable. Best mixers and audio interfaces offer this type of speaker connection to the sound of the clarity and reduce background noise better chance. So as more commonly used, is a "phono type" - well-balanced "or" unbalanced ", but the standard type of cable that connects to a guitar and amplifier. the difference is: Balanced - 2 gray or white rings on the shaft; unbalanced - 1 gray or white ring on the shaft, and possibly more noise due to problems grounded. @ entry smaller rear of the speaker is like mini-headphone jack. Do not bother with that one (of wire, wireless fine weak.) Use XLR (mic cable) or TRS (-Phono-type Guitar Cable), but be sure to ask for 'balanced'. Then check for 2 rings on the shaft is not only 1, therefore, the ring''& 'manga' of the tip-ring-sleeve (TRS) title. Otherwise, TS is only one - 'tip of sleeve. "Most good sound / recording studios use as balanced as possible a lot of wires, either' XLR ' 'TRS. Always plug with power off! Jim
