Condenser microphone.?
So I have a software Homestudio Sonar 6 and I have a Sterling condenser microphone Pop Filter. When I record makes static noise in Sonar Homestudio elsewhere its fine. HELPPP
Condenser Microphones are very susceptible to EMI, or electro-magnetic noise. This noise can come from electronics, computers, fluorescent lights, or even air conditioning. With Audio Equipment, you get what you pay for.
What is the use of resistance in the Electret Condenser Microphone?
My little Sony strereo Electret condenser microphones have a troop strength in parallel with each of the microphones. What is the use of this and can I bypass this resistance? Would increase the microphone sensitivity?
I do not think this is a straight-forward question .... Electret microphones usually have a circuit of 1-stage amplifier built. As a result - - you need a Power Supply - which has a very high impedance. There are several ways such as a microphone gets its power, either through a third wire, or line bias audio. It all depends on what the microphone input amplifier stage seems, but I am sure that the resistance has a Very Good reason not only to "reduce sensitivity.
