Wiring a 20 amp plug man?
I just want to make sure I am doing well. I just bought for $ 3 a male plug 20 amp. (I hope that is the correct term). His part that will plug into the output. The plug has three prongs. One dimension is the U shape, which I guess is a lot, and has a screw, greenish inside. One dimension is flat and has a silver screw on the inside. also last tip is flat (but at right angles contact to another floor) and has a metal screw inside color. The cable outlet has entered into this green, white and black. So I guess the green wire is the screw green (U-shaped tip). This is the reason? I guess white wire goes to the silver screw. I assume the black Wiir goes to the brass screw. Does this sound right? The device is a small whirlpool. The stopper is to enter a GFI receptacle.
