Voice recording with Pro Tools LE 7.0?
For any home Recording Studio art gurus, this may sound completely ridiculous, but all I'm looking to do is record my voice over a backing track karaoke-style. I have Pro Tools LE 7.0 with mbox preamplifier and a Condenser Microphone. Every step basic step to help or point me in the direction of a tutorial easier to understand would be greatly appreciated!
Start a new project. Import the file. Mp3 file you want to sing again. Pro Tools will convert. Start playback and record as many times as you want. Add all the desired effects on the voice track (s). When rebound makes choosing the disk to burn to a CD or you can bounce back at all. Mp3 format for sharing on the web.
