How I can get these external TV speakers to work?

I recently obtained a stereo (rather primitive technology today) that I connected to my TV. I therefore have two speakers that are connected to stereo system via cable or whatever it is called (such as wire copper is placed in the back of the speakers and stereo system). Anyway, when I play music from the radio, the sound is coming from both speakers great, but when I turn on the TV, the sound only come out of one speaker and another speaker creates a buzzing noises. The stereo system is connected to the TV using an accessory cable with a white, yellow and red at each end. I checked all the connections, but it still does not work. What do I do?

I do not know how old your stereo, but make sure the TV is running on an entry in your stereo. It is sometimes said TV / SAT. Make sure your TV is connected in an entry so that you can even connect to DVD / CD or Aux or CD, just make sure it's an entry. The cables are being well, it is not necessary if the yellow (yellow is video, which does not play your stereo) Also make sure the target is connected to pin white and red with red color. If not you may need to get a new stereo that does not cost much, if you buy right. Good luck!

Is this speaker cable has two wires inside the jacket for positive and negative terminals? Or just a wire?

I want to make sure there are both black and red wires inside the jacket, but do not know if there is any way to know if the cables on the link below are just a single copper wire or if there two of them in his jacket. http://www.amazon.com / ACOUSTIC-RESEARCH-AP-16100W-Oxygen-Free-Speaker/dp/B00009V2W9

Read - Yes it is to install the speakers and cables has two drivers. The white jacket covers two insulated wires underneath. Very common wire.
