Can I connect a cable 15-pin HD to an extension of the MacBook Pro?

There is some space on my computer to my work desk and I need an Extension Cord to extend the cable attached to the keyboard 1.5Meter another 1METER. Is the Plug n Play is going to work correctly? Is this effect of speed on the keyboard or functionality?
The Plug and Play works perfectly, extension cords not affect the characteristics general rule. But it does affect the speed. If your talking single extension cable (one entry male one end and a single entry from the other female end), then yes, that causes problems, but its unlikely that really counts. If you mean multiple USB extension (one male one end and entry a block splitter or multiple entries to the other), then yes, that cause problems, depending on what other connected devices could really affect your speed and possibly interfere with it. It did not recommend a USB wireless alternative since they are equally prone to interference. The RF signal is less than a cable connection and, much less when the transmission of several different data channels to a router, which may have its discharge current interrupt USB current. The same applies to other methods of wireless USB. Your best option is to move closer to his desk, if not then for the extension of a single USB (Male Plug input on your desktop with a single female input the other end, absolutely no divisors of multiple USB).
